I actually have a few for this one! (Although, admittedly, Snape mentoring is my favorite):

• For the Cub (Remus raises Harry)
• The Refiner’s Fire (canon relationships so harryginny, ronhermione, remustonks. dumbledore mentors)
• Harry Potter and the Manipulator of Destiny (manipulative!dumbledore, harmony, and griphook mentors!)
• On the Wings of Magic (okay snape is in this one but minerva is there equally)
• How One Little Thing Could Change Anything (Sprout mentors!)

“False hope?” repeated Professor McGonagall, still refusing to look round at Professor Umbridge. “He has achieved high marks in all his Defense Against the Dark Arts tests —”
“I am terribly sorry to have to contradict you, Minerva, but as you will see from my note, Harry has been achieving very poor results in his classes with me —”
“I should have made my meaning plainer,” said Professor McGonagall, turning at last to look Umbridge directly in the eyes. “He has achieved high marks in all Defense Against the Dark Arts tests set by a competent teacher.”

I guess it’s rec night tonight! Okay, I don’t read a lot of Harry Potter fic but these are my absolute faves:

• Walk the Shadows (severe tw for assault/rape/torture but it’s EXCELLENT)
• Broken Wings: Desperate to escape his guilt and nightmares after the third task, Harry transforms into a hawk by accident and ends up breaking both wings and suffering partial memory loss. He is found by Snape,who helps him and discovers the truth about his professor.
• Stronger than Hope (also pretty dark)
• Gypsy Caravan: 5-year-old Harry Potter overhears his aunt complaining to his uncle about the “freaks” camping nearby. Maybe if they are the same type of “freak” he is they will want him? This story is complete, I plan on updating at least twice a week. (this has been on my to-read list for months so if you read it and like it lemme know)
• The End and the Beginning (Harry-centric but Harmony as well)
